Change display order of treatments and packages (Admin Panel)

Learn how to reorder treatments and packages in your Admin Panel so they appear in the order you want in the patient app.

Overview

Display order controls how treatments and packages are listed when patients browse your shop. Reordering lets you highlight flagship services, seasonal offers, or high-margin packages without changing pricing or program setup.

This article is for practice owners, managers, and marketing teams who want to control what patients see first in the patient app.

Before You Start

  • You must have Marketing, Manager, or Administrator access to change display order.

  • Open Treatments or Packages from the Catalog -> Services section of the left-side navigation.

  • Display order applies globally across all locations. You cannot set a different order per location.

  • Reordering affects display order only. It does not change pricing, bundles, promotions, or existing purchases.

  • Changes appear in the patient app after the app refreshes.

Why It Matters

Strategic display order helps you:

  • Put your best offers first so patients see flagship treatments and packages without scrolling.

  • Highlight seasonal or limited-time packages at the top of the list during campaigns.

  • Guide discovery when new patients browse your shop for the first time.

  • Test merchandising without editing prices or rebuilding promotions.

How It Works

Cosmetic change only: Display order controls visual listing in the patient app. It does not affect pricing, bundled offers, promotions, memberships, rewards, or purchases patients already made.

Global across locations: One display order applies to all locations automatically. There is no per-location ordering.

Separate lists for treatments and packages: Treatments and packages each have their own display order. Reordering one does not affect the other.

Immediate save, refresh to see: Click Save display order to apply changes. Patients see the new order after refreshing the app.

No republish required: Saving display order applies the change immediately. You do not need to republish individual treatments or packages.

Best Practices and Pro Tips

  • Lead with your hero services. Place the treatments and packages you most want new patients to discover at the top.

  • Reorder during campaign launches. Move promoted packages up for the duration of a sitewide promotion, then adjust when the campaign ends.

  • Review order quarterly. As your menu evolves, refresh display order so outdated services do not dominate the first screen.

  • Do not confuse order with pricing. If you want to change what patients pay, edit the treatment or package instead.

  • Coordinate with membership carousel edits. Membership display on the home screen is configured separately in App Builder. See Edit membership carousel display (Admin Panel).
