Your Patient Rewards app makes it easy for your practice to have a mobile app to share with your patients, without the heavy lifting of building and managing one of your own.
What personalization can I have over my new mobile app?
You can set your individual app icon for the home screen
Once they log in, the app icon will change to represent your practice and not change unless they manually log themselves out
The title of the app is broad, 'Patient Rewards' so patients can associate it directly with the rewards program of your business.
How can my patients download our new app?
You can prompt patients to download the app when they arrive for their next appointment.
Additionally, they will see banners prompting them to download the app for a better user experience if using their mobile browser.
The experience will be similar to that of opening Macy's.com or Instagram.com versus opening the app.
This banner is automatically built into mobile websites of smartphones. Below is the example of the app banner prompting a user to open the app if they already have it downloaded:

Can people search for our practice in the app store?
No, the app can be found in the app store as MyRepeat: Patient Rewards.
Once the app is downloaded, the name of the app is listed as 'Patient Rewards' on their home screen along with your identifiable app icon and branded to your practice.
Can I design my own mobile app icon?
Yes, click here for best practices and be sure to submit the updated mobile app icon to your CSM to update on your behalf.
Please note, there is a turnaround time of 1-2 days for the app to update on the mobile devices as it will be included in our Product teams next release to the app stores.
I downloaded my mobile app, but the icon isn't updating to reflect my practice.
You have either been logged out or are logged into a different practice's app.
Can users still use the mobile web instead?
Yes. If your patients prefer to use the mobile web they can. If they have a smart phone, we always urge they download the app for a better user experience and access to all features we are planning for next year including app notifications.
Can I turn off the download banners so my patients can only use the mobile web?
Yes. Please reach out to your CSM to assist with turning on and off your mobile app download banners.
What if I have multiple locations? How does that work?
For right now, if you have multiple locations, clients can only have their phone number connected to one location. This is an enhancement we are working on improving next year.
How can I update my app icon?
For now, you must reach out to your CSM if you wish to update your app icon. To learn all about app icon best practices, click here.
Can users be connected to more than one practice using RepeatMD?
Yes. If a user has gone to a different practice that uses RepeatMD, they can be connected to them.
The user cannot use any acquired rewards or converted RepeatCash at any location other than the one they acquired it from.
Can a new patient find us on the app without coming to our office?
Yes. A lot of practices promote their app on their social media and share the steps on how to download and create an account. Click here for some examples.
We are not actively marketing to patients, so this instance will be rare.
When the app icon changes to our practice’s branding, does the name update too?
No. The app will remain listed as Patient Rewards on the home screen of your patients who download it.
