Affirm doesn’t approve every application, so you may be approved for a loan at some stores but not others, or may already have an Affirm loan but not be approved for another right now. There also may be a time when your customer isn't approved for the full amount in their cart. In that case, they will be asked for a downpayment. They cannot edit the downpayment amount nor can they request to pay a downpayment if it wasn't offered to them. 💡Pro tip: Make sure you set the correct expectations for your patients. Affirm has a few factors they take into consideration when reviewing, approving, and denying loan applications. You can not confirm or deny whether or not they will be approved.
