Opting Back in to Text Messages

For patients who opted out of messages

Updated over a week ago

Patients may opt out of text messages at any time by responding "stop" to incoming RepeatMD texts. They're alerted to this option by the message Reply STOP to Opt-Out. Additionally, clients might not receive RepeatMD text messages due to other issues such as message filtering or technical/carrier issues. Patients are encouraged to check their device's spam settings or consult RepeatMD support for persistent issues.

When clients or staff experience issues receiving text messages from RepeatMD, it could be due to unsubscribing, message filtering, carrier deliverability issues or other technical reasons. Below are step-by-step solutions to help identify and resolve these issues:

To opt back in and receive text messages, patients may respond with the text "start" to the existing promotional text thread. Patients can also reactivate text messaging by sending "START" to RepeatMD's SMS short code: +1 833-895-0773. Upon successful reactivation, text messages to the user’s phone number should automatically resume.
