Whether it’s a brand-new patient or a familiar face, getting them scheduled is the first step to delivering great care! 🙌

🌟 Booking a Single Appointment

  1. Make sure the patient is added as a contact in Clerk.

  2. From the Practice Manager or Schedule page, click Add an Appointment.

  3. Fill in the key details: provider, appointment type, date, and time.

    • If the appointment type has a room assigned, it will auto-populate.

    • You can optionally add an Alert or Appointment Note while scheduling.

  4. Click Create Appointment to save.

✨ Quick tip: If the chosen time is unavailable, Clerk will suggest nearby options. You can also adjust the appointment length if needed.

🔁 Booking Recurring Appointments

For patients who need care on a regular basis, recurring appointments make life easier:

  • From Checkout: Click Book Recurring Appointments at the end of a visit.

  • From Patient Profile: Go to the Appointments tab and select Book Recurring Appointments.

Need to make changes later? Click the three dots next to a recurring appointment:

  • Edit Recurring – adjust either a single visit or the entire series.

  • Cancel Appointment – cancel a single appointment or the whole series.

Voila! Your patient is set up for routine care, on the path to a healthier, happier life! ❤️

🍋 Rescheduling or Cancelling Single Appointments

Life happens! Here’s how to handle last-minute changes:

  1. Go to the Patient Profile > Appointments, or find the appointment in the Practice Manager.

  2. Open Summary via the three dots next to the appointment.

  3. Select Edit Appointment.

    • Use the Calendar Icon to change the date and time.

    • Or select Cancel Appointment if the patient won’t reschedule.

Now you’re ready to keep the schedule flowing smoothly, without missing a beat. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! 🍋
