Login credentials for your ALOHA dashboard.
Admin or Manager permissions to access the SCHEDULING tab.
✅ Turn On or Off Patient Appointment Cancellation
If you want to decide if patients can cancel their own appointments through the app, follow these steps:
Navigate to the SCHEDULING tab in your dashboard.
Click on the SETTINGS page.
Find the section labeled CANCEL APPOINTMENTS.
Use the toggle to ALLOW (Checkmark) or NOT ALLOW (X).
Click SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of the page to lock in your changes.
🔒NOTE: If you select NO, patients will no longer see a "Cancel" button in their portal.
🔁 Enable or Disable Patient Rescheduling
Want to let patients reschedule, but only on your terms? You can do that too!
Go to the SCHEDULING tab > SETTINGS page
Find the setting labeled RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS
Use the toggle to ALLOW (Checkmark) or NOT ALLOW (X).
Click SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of the page
Navigate to SET APPOINTMENT TYPE SCHEDULES for further configuration.
On this page, find the appointment type you want to edit
In the Rescheduling column, use the dropdown to choose when patients are allowed to reschedule (ex: 24 hours before, anytime, etc.)
✅ No need to click save here—settings save automatically!
✅ Configuring Mobile Scheduling Visibility
To make sure your appointments actually show up for your patients on their phones, follow these rules:
Turn ON Mobile Scheduling: Once enabled, your previous settings will stay in place and existing configurations will apply automatically.
Check the Scheduling Column: For an appointment type to appear in the Patient Portal or Scheduling App, the "Scheduling" column for that type must be set to either Mobile or Mobile/Web.
