✨ When You Need This Guide

Use this guide if you want to:

  • Be notified instantly when a specific type of appointment is booked

  • Receive alerts by email, text, or both

  • Assign different notifications to different appointment types

✅ Set Up Custom Scheduling Notifications 🔔

  1. Go to Scheduling > Show Templates
    This is where you manage your scheduling messages.

  2. Choose a “Scheduling Notification” (SMS or email)

    • Click “Copy” to create your own version.

    • This lets you keep the original and customize your version.

  3. Edit the new notification

    • Rename it to something clear like “Adjustment Booking Alert”

    • Update the subject line, message content, and add recipients (email or phone).

    • You can include multiple team members!

  4. Go to Scheduling > Settings and select “Edit Appt Type Schedules”

    • This connects your custom notification to the right appointment.

  5. Select the appointment type(s)

    • Choose the appointment type(s) you want to track (e.g., Consult, Adjustment).

  6. Assign your new notification from the dropdown

    • Then click “Save Schedule” to lock in your changes.
