To dial in a specific Appointment Type to only be available for existing or new patients in specific, you will need to go to SCHEDULING > SETTINGS > Scroll down and click “Set Appointment Type Schedules” > Select the option under the “Scheduling” drop-down menu that applies to that appointment.
You will be able to choose from the following options:
None: This appointment type will NOT be allowed to schedule online.
Hidden: If a patient is scheduled with this appointment type, they will not be able to see it on their end via The Scheduling App.
Mobile Only: The appointment type will only be available to schedule for existing patients via The Scheduling App or the Existing Patient option in the Online Scheduler.
Web Only: The appointment type will only be available to schedule via the Online Scheduler (This is intended to be used for New Patients only).
Mobile/Web: This appointment type can be scheduled on both The Scheduling App and the Online Scheduler.
Keep in mind that if you would like an appointment type to ONLY be for new patients, you will also need to flip the “New Patient” switch ON for that specific Appointment Type on the same page.
