Integrating Salesforce CRM with Revlitix
Integrating Salesforce CRM with the Revlitix platform can significantly enhance your ability to make strategic decisions. This detailed guide is designed to help users authenticate and smoothly complete the integration process.
Step 1: Begin the Integration Process
Action: In Revlitix, navigate to the Integrations module.
Select: Click on "Salesforce" under the Available Integrations section.
Step 2: Initiate Integration
Launch: Click the 'Get Started' button to initiate the integration with Revlitix.
Step 3: Salesforce Account Credentials
Login Requirement: Provide your Salesforce CRM login credentials.
Step 4: Connecting Data
System Connection: The system will start linking Salesforce CRM data with Revlitix.
Account Selection: If multiple accounts exist, click 'choose account'. For a single account, the system will proceed automatically.
Step 5: Basic Information Details
Input Connection Name: In the Basic Info tab, enter a name for the connection.
Input Data Refresh Intervals: Users must select a Data Refresh Interval from four available options: 'Every 4 hours', 'Every 8 hours', 'Every 12 hours', or 'Every 24 hours.' Once chosen, the selection will be saved and remain active until the user decides to make changes. This ensures that the platform refreshes data based on the user's preferences.
The user's selected refresh interval will take priority over the system's default. By default, the Revlitix platform refreshes data every 24 hours unless the user chooses a different interval.
Proceed: Click 'Save & Next'.
Step 6: Field Mapping
Mapping Process: Initiate mapping of pertinent object attributes in the Revlitix platform to corresponding Salesforce fields, enabling seamless data retrieval from the connected Salesforce account.
A pick list of applicable Salesforce fields will be provided for each Revlitix attribute, with a search field available for easy value selection.
Date Type: When users select a Salesforce field for the Revlitix value, the data type, such as Date, String, Integer, Double, and Float, will automatically populate based on the field selected.
Set as Default: By checking this box, the user can see these fields in the Raw data expansion by default. If not required, the user can change the choice anytime by editing the mapping page.
Preview: Preview helps you to check the details about the specific field.
Delete: The user can delete custom fields by clicking the delete icon.
Add mapping: If the user wants to add new fields, click the 'Add mapping' tab.
Click 'Save & Next' to proceed further.
A confirmation dialog box will appear based on the choices between Confirm and Close. The page will be populated accordingly.
Step 7: Complete Integration
Finalize Integration: Click 'Save' to complete the integration.
Once the integration is complete, the Salesforce integration will be available in the Connected Integrations section.
The user will set up the 'Date Refresh Intervals' on the Basic Info page upon completion of integration.
