Goal Tracker in Sales Analytics

The Goal Tracker in Sales Analytics is an essential tool for setting and monitoring goals for representatives, teams, and the entire workspace. This functionality helps you track performance against set objectives and make necessary adjustments to stay on track. Here’s how to use the Goal Tracker effectively.

Step 1: Go to Sales Analytics

Start by accessing the Sales Analytics section, where you can manage and view various analytics tools, including the Goal Tracker.

Log In and Navigate: Ensure you are logged into your account with the necessary permissions to access and manage goals in Sales Analytics. Click on the 'Sales Analytics' option on your dashboard, which might be located in the main menu, a sidebar.

Step 2: Click on Goal Tracker

Navigate to the Goal Tracker to begin setting and viewing goals for various levels within your organization.

Access Goal Tracker: In the Sales Analytics dashboard, find and click on the 'Goal Tracker' option. This will take you to the section where you can manage and view your goals.

Step 3: Get a Preview of How a Scorecard Will Look Like

Before you set or edit goals, you can preview how the scorecards, which display performance against the set goals, will appear.

Preview Scorecard: Get a preview of the scorecard, which shows how it will display the goals and performance metrics for representatives, teams, and workspaces. This helps you understand the layout and information distribution before making any changes.

Step 4: Click on Options to Edit or Delete

Manage your goals by using the options to edit or delete them as needed.

Edit or Delete Goals: Click on 'Options' next to any set goal to edit or delete it. This allows you to adjust goals to reflect any new strategies or remove them if they are no longer applicable.

Set Goals: Through the Goal Tracker, you can set and adjust goals for:

  • Representative: Set individual performance goals for each sales representative.

  • Team: Define collective goals for sales teams to encourage group performance.

  • Workspace: Establish overarching goals for the entire workspace to align all efforts.

By following these steps, you can effectively use the Goal Tracker in Sales Analytics to set, monitor, and adjust goals. This tool ensures that your sales team is aligned and focused on achieving its targets. It is instrumental in driving performance and strategic alignment across different levels of your organization.
