Sometimes, you may need to delete a product from Rewaa that is linked with e-commerce platforms (Salla, Zid). Rewaa allows product deletion from inventory, but it’s essential to understand how this action affects the product linkage with the e-commerce platform.

Viewing Products in Rewaa and the E-commerce Platform

  • To view products in Rewaa inventory:
    Go to: Products and Inventory > Products Section.
    All products in Rewaa inventory will be displayed.

  • To view products in the e-commerce platform inventory:
    Go to: Applications > My Apps > Manage Products.
    Ensure you select the logo of the relevant e-commerce platform before choosing "Manage Products."

Impact of Deleting a Product

  1. Deleting Products from Rewaa Inventory:

    • Applies to simple products, variable products, weighed products, service products, and pack products.

    • The product will only be removed from Rewaa inventory.

    • Impact:

      • The product’s status in "Manage Products" will change to "Not Found."

      • Multi-variant products will have all variants marked as "Not Found."

      • When an order from the e-commerce platform includes a deleted product:
        The order will be marked as Suspended due to the product being unavailable in Rewaa inventory.

  • Deleting Products from the E-commerce Platform:

    • Applies to simple products, variable products, weighed products, service products, and pack products.

    • The product will only be removed from the e-commerce platform inventory.

    • Impact:

      • You will no longer receive orders containing the deleted product.

      • For variable products: Deleting one variant will prevent orders for that specific variant, but other variants will remain available.

      • When searching for the product in "Manage Products" (specific to the e-commerce platform), the deleted product will no longer appear.

  • Deleting a Product within a Composite Product (Linked with Salla):

    • If a single product inside a Composite product is deleted, the Composite product will be unlinked.

    • Note: Composite product linkage is supported only with Salla.


FAQs

  1. Can I delete a product from Rewaa inventory if there are pending orders containing that product?
    Yes, but you won’t be able to resolve the error unless you re-add the product with the same SKU.

  2. I have a linked product but want to temporarily stop synchronization without deleting or changing its SKU. Is this possible?
    Yes, go to: Applications > My Apps > Search for the product or SKU > Click "Unlink."

    • The product will be unlinked, and quantity synchronization will stop.

    • If an order containing the product is placed, the order status will be "Suspended" with an error indicating "Unlinked Product."

    • To relink the product, click "Link," and quantities will synchronize again.
