How to Create, View, & Edit Notes

RiseKit provides a space for you and your teammates to easily enter and share participant notes as they move from stage to stage to effectively track progress and export data.

Updated today

1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal.

2. Notes can be accessed by clicking on any participant's name throughout RiseKit. This can be done by starting on their stage (ex: Barrier Reduction) or under the list of names under the menu item labeled, Participants.

3. Navigate to your desired participant, click on their name to show a number of options on the left through the side window panel. Click Notes.

Creating a New Note

1. Once inside, click + New Note and choose which type of note you'd like to create:

  • Case Note: Save general notes on the participant, the resources their currently engaged with, or recent conversations you've had with them.

  • Placement Note: Easily record and track the participant's placement into a job or job training program.

  • Intake Note: Write important notes from the participant's intake process including details on barriers, important things to remember as they progress into your program, or any next steps you want to keep in mind.

2. Record your note under your desired category and click Create Note to save.

Editing an Existing Note

Please note: The participant must be assigned to you in order for you to access this feature.

1. Find the note you'd like to edit under the participant's profile (all notes should be visible under the Notes section, regardless of the category).

2. Find and click on the "pencil" icon to bring up your original note.

3. Make your desired edits to the original note and click Submit to save. You may also delete the note entirely by clicking the "garbage can" icon.

Accessing Notes in Chat

RiseKit also allows you to conveniently manage your notes from within our Chat feature.

1. In the left-hand menu, click Chat, find your desired participant/conversation, and click Notes.
