Can I Cancel an Accepted Job?
Once you have accepted a job request, and the company has confirmed it, you will not be able to cancel the job until it has expired.
Even when a job has no recorded time, it remains a valid job with payment implications for both the contract driver and the company. Therefore, effective management of this process is crucial for both parties.
When Does a Job Expire?
Job expiration is based on the below criteria:
If no time has been recorded against the contract job on the specified day
For jobs with minimum guaranteed hours and no specified hours, expiry is the next calendar day.
If another job starts within one hour, the previous job will expire.
Cancel or Log Hours on an Expired Job
You have two options when it comes to handling an expired job 👇
Log hours - If you were unable to log your hours on the same day you worked, you can update your billable hours retroactively to ensure proper billing to the hiring company. For more information, refer to our article on updating your billable hours.
Cancel Job - You can cancel a job, which will notify the company that you've cancelled the job and that you are not charging for that specific job day.
How to Cancel a Job:
When a job expires, we send it to the 'Completed jobs' section within 'My jobs' for further management.
Click on ‘My jobs’
Tap on the icon in the upper right corner
Select ‘Cancel job’
Select 'Yes' to confirm
Your job has now been cancelled and the hiring company has been informed
