How to downgrade your Road Ninja subscription plan

Downgrading your Road Ninja subscription plan is simple and straightforward. Here’s everything you need to know about how and when to make the change.

When Can I Downgrade?

For customers on the Standard or Enterprise plans, you can request to downgrade to a lower-tier plan one month before your subscription term ends. The option to downgrade will automatically appear on your Subscription screen at this time.

How to Downgrade

To downgrade your plan, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Road Ninja account.

  • Navigate to the Subscription section.

  • Select “Change Plan” and choose the plan you wish to downgrade to.

When will the Downgrade take Effect?

Your downgrade will become effective at the end of your current 12-month subscription term. Until that time, your existing plan will remain active.

Example scenario:

  • Jane subscribed to the Standard plan on November 10, 2023

  • On October 10, 2024, Jane requests a downgrade to the Basic plan

  • Janes standard plan remains active until November 10, 2024

  • Starting on November 11, 2024, Jane will be billed monthly under the Basic plan.

Note on Basic Plan

The Basic plan is our entry-level option, so there are no further downgrade options available once you are on this plan.
