RueBaRue now offers Work Schedules along with expanded assignment capabilities inside Work Orders. This update helps teams assign work more intelligently, track availability accurately, and provide clearer ownership—without adding complexity.
1) Define Standard Work Schedules
You can now create structured schedules for maintenance staff, inspectors, property managers, and other team members:
Set predefined hours (e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM)
Customize hours by day of the week
Create different schedules for different roles
This establishes a clear baseline of availability for your team, making it easier to plan and assign tasks.
2) Track Exceptions & Time Off
Work Schedules also allow you to capture exceptions, such as:
Doctor appointments or partial-day absences
Vacation days
Working on normally off days
Temporary schedule adjustments
Now, when assigning tasks, you’ll know who is actually available, not just who exists in the system.
3) Smarter Work Order Assignment
Inside Work Orders, a new icon next to the “Assigned To” field opens your Work Schedule view, allowing you to:
See who is available
See who is off
See who already has tasks scheduled
Select one or more internal resources
External vendors or contacts can still be assigned as before, but internal scheduling is now far more intelligent.
4) New “Manager” Field
For larger organizations, a Manager field has been added:
Assign work orders to a property manager
Allow them to reassign tasks to maintenance staff
Provide clearer ownership across teams
This feature helps multi-property and multi-team organizations operate more smoothly.
5) New “My Tasks” View (Desktop)
A new My Tasks page is available on desktop, letting team members:
See tasks assigned to them
Focus on what needs attention
Reduce missed work
Note: Work Schedules and My Tasks will be rolled out on mobile in the next 2–3 weeks.
Why This Matters
With Work Schedules, RueBaRue continues evolving into a true Guest Operations Hub, connecting messaging, tasks, accountability, and team coordination in one place. This ensures your team works smarter, not harder.
