Refund Policy
You can get a full refund if you request cancellation before or on your plan's start date.
If you request cancellation after your plan's start date, you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the unused days, but it is not guaranteed. The refund request will be reviewed by our tech support team.
Adventure Sports Add-on and Electronics Theft Add-on are non-refundable.
If you cancel within the first 5 days of the plan's start date, you would only be eligible to be refunded for unused days after the first 5 days, counting from the 6th day, up to the end of your current billing cycle.
If you cancel after the first 5 days of the plan's start date, you would be eligible to be refunded for the remaining unused days, from the day after cancellation, up to the end of your current billing cycle.
Unused days are calculated from the day after cancellation through the end of your current coverage period (the last day you've already paid for).
Condition that must be met for refund to be eligible: If you have filed any claims, your plan will not be eligible for a refund. The review process may take up to 5 business days.
Refunds are typically credited to your card within 5–7 business days after cancellation.
Clarifications on the dates:
Start Date: This refers to the first day your plan is activated. It's when your coverage begins. The refund policy applies to this day, and you can cancel before or on the plan's start date for a full refund.
Auto-extension Date: This refers to when your plan automatically extends after the initial coverage period (e.g., after 28 days). The full refund policy does not apply to the auto-extension date, only to the first 24 hours after the start of the plan.
Purchase Date: This refers to the date you bought the plan, since you can buy a plan that starts on a future date within the next 6 months, this is not necessarily the same date as the start date of the plan.
For plans with one payment for a 364-day period
If you have paid upfront for a 364-day plan and wish to cancel after your start date, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the unused portion of your premium, up to a maximum of 65% of the total premium paid. Please note that a cancellation fee of $60 applies, and the remaining 35% of the total premium is non-refundable. To be eligible for a refund, you must not have filed any claims. The Adventure Sports and Electronics Theft add-ons are non-refundable once your plan has started.
