RH Global: Payment Methods for Group Plans

Learn how to pay your Remote Health group invoice using credit card, direct debit, or wire transfer.

Credit Card

When paying by credit card, you have two options:

  • Set up automatic payments, OR

  • Provide written authorization with each invoice to charge the card

Automatic payments are recommended to help prevent delays and avoid coverage interruptions.

You will always receive:

  • A detailed invoice

  • A payment receipt

2. Bank Direct Debit

When paying by direct debit, you may choose:

  • Automatic withdrawals, OR

  • Provide written authorization with each invoice to withdraw funds

Automatic withdrawals are recommended to help avoid payment delays and potential coverage pauses.

As with credit card payments, you will receive:

  • A detailed invoice

  • A payment receipt

3. Bank Wire Transfer

If paying by bank wire transfer:

  • Payment must be sent manually for each invoice.

  • The bank details can be found in the invoice.

  • You must email payment confirmation to billing@safetywing.com for every invoice.

This confirmation is required for your account to be marked as paid.

A receipt will be issued once payment is processed, typically within 7–10 days after confirmation is received.

Important reminders

  • Payments must be received by the invoice due date to avoid coverage interruptions.

  • Coverage may be paused if payment is more than 30 days late.

  • Coverage is canceled if payment is more than 60 days late.

  • Invoice adjustment requests made after the invoice is issued, such as cancellations or newly added members, will be reflected in the next invoice. Invoices are created two weeks before the due date.

Invoices

Payment frequency

Insurance payments are made in advance for the coverage period, and your group policy will only be activated once the initial payment is received. This first payment needs to be made before the start date to make sure coverage starts on time.

You can choose to pay quarterly, semi-annually, or annually, whichever you prefer. Just keep in mind that the frequency you select when signing the contract is locked in for the year, but you’ll have the option to adjust it at renewal time.

At the end of the policy year, you'll receive a reconciliation invoice, which will reflect any adjustments made since your last payment.

Invoicing schedule

Our billing team will email you an invoice two weeks before your payment due date. Payments are due either on the 1st or the 15th of the month, depending on your plan’s start date. You can find your due date on the top right corner of your invoice. Please note that payments are considered late if not received within 30 days of the due date.

Late payments

If payment isn’t made within the 30-day window, your team will temporarily lose access to their benefits, including claim reimbursements, direct billing, and pre-approvals, even support for emergencies. The good news is that as soon as we receive your payment, all benefits will be fully restored.

Please keep in mind that if payment is more than 60 days late, your team’s coverage will unfortunately be canceled.

Prorated policies

When you add or remove a member mid-billing cycle, you will only pay a prorated amount for the days they were active. If you add a new member, your next invoice will show two charges: one for the previous cycle and one for the current cycle. Similarly, if you remove a member during a billing cycle, you will receive a credit on your next invoice for the unused portion of their premium.

Your invoice in detail

Your invoice will include a summary of all active policies during the billing cycle, covering both the member and their dependents (if applicable). If the member has dependents, their information will be listed under the member, and they will share the same policy number. The total amount for the member and their dependents will be reflected in the totals.
