Salesbuildr pulls in product specifications from iCECAT, based on the manufacturer part number. When you fetch product information, Salesbuildr uses the part number and sends it to iCECAT to retrieve the product name, description, specifications, and images.
Important note: iCECAT is not 100% complete, as it depends on manufacturers publishing their data to the platform. This means product information may not always be fully available from iCECAT, especially for older or end-of-life items.
You can enable or disable filters on a per category basis, which can then be used on the product category page to filter based on these specifications.
To configure product specification filters:
Navigate to Admin, Configuration, Product Specifications and select the category that contains the products that you want to enable the filters for.
