Instructions to send employees learning and development programs, and track their progress

Updated over 7 months ago

Assigning training and inductions to employees ensures staff complete the required learning modules and that records of compliance and onboarding are kept up to date. Programs may include policies, documents and videos covering workplace expectations and procedures. This guide explains how to assign training and induction programs to individual employees or groups of employees.

Quick Guide

Assigning Training Programs and Inductions to Employees

  1. From the column to the left, navigate to Learning and Development.

  2. Here you will see your current induction and training courses. Follow the process to create a new course before assigning it here.

  3. Select the job title of the employee you wish to assign the course to from the drop-down menu.

  4. Select the employee from the corresponding drop-down list.

  5. Under Completed Inductions you can see the training programs assigned to each staff member, the date they were assigned, and whether they’re completed.

  6. Under the employee’s name, tick a box next to a training module to instantaneously assign it to them.

  7. You will see a pop-up confirmation that the employee has been notified.

  8. The date and time of assignment will now be visible, along with a red cross to indicate the training is outstanding.

  9. You can also assign the same module repeatedly, such as for those that require refreshing periodically.

  10. Instead of selecting individuals, you can alternatively send training to all staff with the same title.

  11. To do this, select the job role from the drop-down list.

  12. Tick the box at the top middle.

  13. Under Select Induction/Training, tick a box to instantaneously assign the course to all employees with this title.

  14. The title will now appear next to the training module, and the assignment will be noted in employees’ individual profiles.
