SauceyDirect supports both delivery and pickup orders, giving your customers flexibility in how they receive their purchases. By default, both order types are enabled, but you can adjust this setting anytime.
⚙️ How to Enable or Disable Delivery & Pickup
Go to Settings > My Store > Shopping Settings in your Merchant Portal.
Use the toggle switches to turn Delivery or Pickup on or off at any time.
🔎 How to Tell if an Order Is Delivery or Pickup
When a new order comes in, you can easily check its type:
On the Active Orders page, look under the Type column.
Inside the individual order screen, check the Order Details section in the top-right corner.
This will clearly show whether the order is for Delivery or Pickup.
🏪 Pickup Orders
For pickup orders:
Verify the customer: When they arrive, always check their ID to make sure the name matches the order.
Edit anytime: Pickup orders can be edited even after they are accepted.
Complete the order: Once the customer picks up their items, manually mark the order complete:
Click and hold the “Complete” button at the bottom right of the order view.
Enter the customer’s age (as shown on their ID).
Click Confirm to finalize.
🚗 Delivery Orders
For delivery orders:
Prepare and accept the order once it’s packed.
A driver will arrive to pick up the order — always verify the order number or customer name with them before handing it over.
Once the driver picks up the order, it will automatically move through the delivery process.
✅ Pro Tip: Since pickup orders remain editable after acceptance and delivery orders do not, always double-check delivery orders before clicking Accept Order.
