If your store is processing payments through Green Payment Solutions using the NMI payment gateway, all refunds are issued directly through your NMI dashboard. SauceyDirect does not process refunds on your behalf.
This guide walks you through how to access your NMI dashboard and issue a full or partial refund.
🖥️ Step 1: Access Your NMI Payment Gateway Dashboard
After onboarding is complete, you will receive an email with the subject:
“BLVD Merchant Group Payment Gateway Account Information.”
This email contains your invitation to set up access to your NMI dashboard, which is where you manage transactions, refunds, and payment history.
To get started:
Open the email and click “Set a Password.”
Create your password. The setup link is valid for 24 hours.
Log in to your NMI dashboard.
Once logged in, you will be able to:
Search and review transactions
Issue full or partial refunds
View order payment history
Pro Tip: Bookmark your NMI dashboard. This is the primary portal you will use for refunds and payment management.
🔎 Step 2: Locate the Transaction to Refund
From the NMI dashboard, navigate to Transactions.
Use the search filters to find the order you want to refund. You can search by:
Transaction ID
Date range
Cardholder name
Amount
Click on the transaction to open the transaction details page.
💳 Step 3: Issue a Refund
Inside the transaction details, click Refund.
Choose one of the following:
Full refund to return the entire transaction amount
Partial refund to return a specific dollar amount
Confirm the refund details.
Submit the refund.
Once submitted, the refund is sent to the customer’s original payment method.
⏱️ Refund Timing and Important Notes
Refunds typically appear on the customer’s bank statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on their bank.
Refunds must be issued from the original transaction. New or separate transactions cannot be refunded.
Processing fees are generally not returned unless explicitly stated in your merchant agreement with Green Payment Solutions.
