First, log into the customer portal and answer the questions on the To-Do tab.
Once you get to the notarize page, select "In-Person Notary" as shown in the screenshot below.
Next, download your pre-filled 1583 form from the Documents tab.
Visit a notary in person and properly complete the form. Make sure you do not make any mistakes. We recommend watching the tutorial (shown in the screenshot below) as well as reading this specific frequently asked question.
Next, select "upload documents" as shown in the screenshot below. Alternatively, you can click this link to upload your documents (USPS 1583 Form combined with SavvyNomad Terms of Service, your Photo ID (e.g., a passport), and your Address ID (e.g., an unexpired driver's license).
Finally, upload your notarized 1583 form as well as your photo ID and address ID.
Keep in mind: if you completed your 1583 Form with an in-person notary, your SavvyNomad documents (like your Proof of Address documents for getting a driver's license) are not generated until a team member has had a chance to manually review and approve your 1583 Form. This can take anywhere from 1-5 business days. On the other hand, your documents will generate instantly if you complete the form using the online notary.
