What name do I put as my Registered Agent on my Florida business filing?

Written by Bo

The registered agent is SavvyResidences LLC — not SavvyNomad, which is our brand name. SavvyResidences LLC is the legal entity that serves as your registered agent, and it is the name that belongs on your filing with the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz).

What goes in each field

  • Business to serve as RA — SavvyResidences LLC

  • Registered Agent Signature — an individual's name, not the company. Use the name of the person shown on your registered agent consent letter. Florida requires a person to sign on behalf of a business entity, which is why the form warns that a business entity cannot serve as its own registered agent.

  • Registered agent address — 1111 Oakfield Dr Ste 115, Brandon, FL 33511

Your consent letter is the source of truth

We provide a registered agent consent letter in your portal, under the Documents or Settings tab. It confirms the entity name and shows the individual who signs on its behalf. If anything here ever differs from your letter, go with the letter.

A few other things to know

  • The same answer applies whether you are filing for an LLC or a corporation, including an S-corp.

  • Registered agent service is Florida only. We do not offer it in Texas.

  • Providing the consent letter does not change your registered agent with the state. You are responsible for submitting the filing to the Florida Division of Corporations yourself.
