Many of our clients and their team members are accessing Scale Headshots from devices that operate behind a heavily restricted VPN or company firewall. In order to ensure your users are able to access the platform within their restrictions, we recommend asking your IT team to have the following items allowlisted.
Upcoming Domain Change
We are migrating all Scale Headshots platform URLs to a new domain: scaleheadshots.com. To ensure a seamless transition for your team, we recommend adding the new domain to your allowlist now, ahead of the change.
New URLs to allowlist:
studio.scaleheadshots.com — Scale Studio, where users take and upload their headshots
dashboard.scaleheadshots.com — Scale Dashboard, where admins manage invitations, review photos, and configure settings
Once the migration is complete, your studio URLs will reflect the new domain. For example, a studio that was previously at headshots.studio/your-company-studio would become studio.scaleheadshots.com/your-company-studio. Existing links on the old domain will automatically redirect, so no action is needed from your end users. However, if your network restricts access by domain, your IT team will need to allowlist scaleheadshots.com for those redirects to work.
New email sender to allowlist
As part of this update, our transactional emails (invitations, notifications, and photo review alerts) will begin sending from noreply@scaleheadshots.com instead of the current (noreply@headshots.studio) address. If your organization has strict email filters or firewall rules, your IT team should add this new sender to your allowlist ahead of the change to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
Current Domains
The following domains are still active and will continue to work after the migration through automatic redirects.
Allowlist the domain headshots.studio. This is the current domain that Scale Studio and Scale Dashboard URLs are based on.
Ensure your IT team allows all members of your company to receive emails from noreply@headshots.studio. This is the current sender for invitation and notification emails and will eventually be replaced by noreply@scaleheadshots.com.
