One of the easiest ways to set up a new ballot is to clone an old ballot. In this article, we'll walk you through the simple steps to clone an existing ballot within your Best of platform.

  • Log into your Best of account

  • On the Ballot Management page that loads when you first log in, click on the "Clone Ballot" button, usually located in the top-right corner.

  • Choose the ballot you wish to clone from the list of available ballots.

  • Naming the New Ballot:

    • Determine the name for the new ballot, typically denoting the current year or any relevant identifier.

  • Options for Cloning:

    • Decide whether to include ads from the original ballot or import pre-populated choices.

    • Set the voting style, such as allowing write-ins, and set voting frequency (e.g., once per day).

  • Finalizing the Cloning Process:

    • Review your selections

    • Click on the "Convert" button to initiate the cloning process.

    • Allow the system a moment to process and clone the ballot.

    • Once the cloning process is complete, and the system confirms the successful cloning, click on the "Close" button to exit the cloning interface.

Congratulations! You have successfully cloned a ballot. You can now proceed with further customization or launching the new ballot.
