Setting Ads to Rotate or Share of Voice

Changing the ad settings in your account allows you to customize how your ads are displayed, whether you prefer a share of voice model or rotation. Follow these steps to adjust your ad settings.

Step 1: Pull up the ballot in question

Step 2: Access the Advertising Tab

  • Navigate to the left-hand navigation bar on your dashboard.

  • Click on the "Advertising" tab. This will take you to the advertising settings page.

Step 3: Open the Settings Options

  • Once the advertising tab is loaded, locate the "Settings" option and click on it.

  • Here, you will see different options for your ad settings.

Step 4: Choose Between Share of Voice and Rotate

  • Share of Voice is set as the default. This option prioritizes your ads based on your share of voice in the market.

  • Rotate is recommended for more even distribution. This option flips through the category ads or rotates through all your saved ads for a specific position. This ensures that each ad is viewed by more users, resulting in a more balanced distribution of ad impressions.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

  • After selecting your preferred setting, scroll to the bottom of the page.

  • Click "Save" to apply your changes.

Once saved, your ads will follow the newly selected display method, ensuring optimal visibility based on your preference.
