The Scentech app was completely renewed in September 2026. It replaces the old app that came with your diffuser. The name and its place in the App Store and Google Play have stayed the same, so you'll simply get the new app as an update.
How to recognise the new app
You start with Welcome and go through seven steps: Bluetooth, Nearby, Room, ScentPod, Scent, Schedule and Intensity.
Schedules have names like Homebody, Office tiger and Night owl. You set custom times yourself using blocks.
Intensity is now a word (Low to Max), no longer a number.
For each diffuser, you can see how many hours your ScentPod has left.
There's a Shop tab for reordering scents and an Account tab with your orders.
The app is available in Dutch, English and German.
Do you still see a screen with Device Control, Working period or Grade 1–10? Then you still have the old app. On Android, the update may arrive a little later than on iPhone. Check Google Play for Scentech to see if an update is available.
Pairing once more
The new app can't take over the data from the old app. That's why you'll see Welcome back the first time you open it. Pair your diffuser once more using the steps in the app. If your diffuser already has a schedule on it, the app will ask There's already a schedule on it. Choose Restore to keep it.
Your diffuser kept running as normal the whole time: the schedule is stored on the diffuser itself, not on your phone.
What the app no longer needs
No account. Logging in is handy for the Shop and your orders, but it's not needed to control your diffuser.
No location and no internet needed to pair. Everything runs over Bluetooth.
No code or PIN.
The right app
There's another app called "Scent Tech" (two words). That one doesn't work with your diffuser. The official app is called Scentech and has a purple logo.
