In ScribbleVet, the Appointment Context section lets you add background information, such as a document or typed text, to an appointment. ScribbleVet automatically references this context when generating or regenerating the note, which is useful for multi-day or inpatient cases that need prior shift summaries or other history included.
Add context to an appointment
Navigate to the appointment you want to add context to.
Select Appointment context to open the section.
Upload a document, such as a PDF of previous shift notes, or type relevant information that may not have been captured in a recording directly into the context box.
If you have already generated a note for this appointment, add the context, then click Scribble again to regenerate the note with your added context.
ScribbleVet automatically incorporates any added context into the note the next time it is generated.
Note: You do not need to use specific phrasing for ScribbleVet to reference the added context. It is automatically included whenever the note is generated or regenerated. |
Frequently asked questions
What can I add as appointment context?
You can add a document, such as a PDF of previous shift notes, or free text typed directly into the context box.
Do I need to phrase the context a certain way for ScribbleVet to use it?
No. ScribbleVet automatically references any added context when generating the note, so no special phrasing is needed.
What if I already scribbled a note before adding context?
