Create Price Lists
A price list is the middle bit between your Customers and your Products. Each list has unique discounts and prices that can be applied to many Customers.
In Sellar we have two different types of price lists. The idea is to cut down on entering and updating prices over and over. Our wizard will help you through.
Base Price List - Your main or original price list, where everything else stems from. You might have just one price list and this is it. You might have many and this is the one which has the majority of the prices for your products, which covers the majority of customers. You don't assign these to Customers.
Derived Price List - Can inherit prices from your base price lists and hold its own custom prices and discounts for products. (Think about those customers who have your normal trade price for most items, apart from a few or someone who has 5% off everything) You assign these to Customers.
Discounts
Discounts can only be added to derived price lists.
In Sellar we have both Β£ off and % off discounts, which can be applied in the following ways:
Per container type - Apply your discount to every product of that type. For example, everything that comes in a keg.
Per product - Choose a single product to apply a discount to. Each product can have a different discount.
To the whole price list - Every single product in the price list gets the discount. Great for that 5% of everything.
Volume discounts - When a certain purchasing threshold is met, either by quantity or spend, a discount can be applied. You can also limit this to specific container types.
