In Sellar you have many options to configure delivery to suit what your customers normally receive. All the Pricing options are configured in the same for Direct, Courier and Haulier Delivery. But apply separately.
Flat Delivery Charge
In Sellar you are able offer a flat delivery cost to all deliveries. You will find these options in both Direct and Courier Delivery.
1. Use the Edit option next to Flat Delivery Charge
2. Enter your charge and update. This will be shown on all orders customers make where you deliver directly.
Delivery Charges By Container Type
In Sellar you are able to configure charges for delivery on each container type. This is most popular for Courier Delivery, where you may charge per item.
These apply per container in a basket and stack. So if a Customer adds Kegs and Bottles, they are charged for both.
If you leave this blank, delivery is free. Even if you have free delivery offers
Use Add Delivery Charge option under Delivery Charges.
Select a container type to apply this charge to
Enter either a pack quantity or a volume and unit (with 1 as a quantity) if you wish to make this more specific (6 and 24 packs of cans may have different delivery costs)
Enter a cost for the delivery
Repeat for all container types you stock.
Delivery Charge Cap (Courier only)
In Sellar if you charge for your Courier Delivery per container type, you can add a cap for the delivery charge. Once costs hit that number they do not go any higher for your Customers
Use the Edit option next to Delivery charge cap.
Enter a cap where you would like the delivery costs to stop.
Free Delivery Charge
In Sellar you are able to offer a free delivery if your customers basket total reaches a certain amount. We find Customers add more to their basket if they have a target to shoot for 🚀.
1. Use the Edit option next to Free Delivery by Basket Sub Total.
2. Enter a threshold you would like free delivery to be applied and update. This will be shown to customers when they add products to their basket.
Free Delivery by Container Type
In Sellar you can offer free delivery to apply to a specific container type, rather than the whole order. When that threshold is met the delivery is free. We find Customers add more to their basket if they have a target to shoot for 🚀.
Use Add Delivery Charge option under Free Delivery by Container Type.
Enter a threshold you would like the free delivery to be applied at for this container type. This will be shown to customers when they add this type of Product to their baskets.
Select a Container Type.
Repeat for all the Containers you wish to add a free delivery rule to.
