To add pricing and offers to your courier deliveries, see our guide here

What is Courier Delivery?

Where you deliver to the Customer using a courier, as you cannot directly.

The Courier delivery option is offered to all Customers outside of your Direct Delivery Areas. You can choose to fulfil the order using Sellar Shipping or your own courier

With this service, a courier will pick up and deliver the products to the Customer.

All your Customers, including direct, can choose this option. They will see an estimated delivery date when placing an order. If they add larger products to their order (which you define below) they can switch to Pallet Delivery.

Container Eligibility Rules

These settings won't take effect till 01/10/2025, but you must enter them to be ready.

Here, you can define the maximum size of the container you can ship using a courier (Sellar Shipping or your own courier). Anything over that size will become a pallet delivery for your customers when they are checking out.

Sellar Shipping currently works for up to 20L plastic kegs. If you choose anything heavier in your settings, you will need to be able to fulfil this through your own courier.

Enter a volume for each container type. Plastic Kegs, Steel Kegs and Casks.

  1. Choose a unit using the dropdown on the left to match the container (Litres or Gallons)

  2. Enter the maximum volume you can ship through a courier service for the container type.

  3. Repeat for all container types you stock as products.

Courier Delivery Schedule

Here you can define your standard dispatch dates for courier deliveries. This will show your Customer an estimation of their delivery and a cut-off meet to get that delivery day.

How to configure your scheduled dispatches:

1. Use the Edit option next to Courier Delivery Schedule.

2. Optionally select which days you would normally dispatch courier orders on. This can be one or more days. If you select no days for dispatch, the other rules below will apply to today.

3. Then enter the cut off time for orders you will finalise. If you finalise an order before the time entered the dispatch and delivery days you enter next will apply.

4. Enter how many working days after you finalise an order you will dispatch the products.

5. Enter how many working days after dispatch the delivery will reach the customer

How to configure next day delivery with a midday cut off (shipping everyday):

1. Use the Edit option next to Courier Delivery Schedule.

2. Select all days for dispatch. This way the below rules always apply to today.

3. Then enter midday as the cut off. When you finalise orders before this time, the dispatch and delivery rules below will apply.

4. Enter an estimated dispatch date of 0 working days. This means that products will be dispatched today.

5. Enter an estimated delivery date of 1 working days. This means that products will be delivered tomorrow.
