Viewing Pending Transfers

Not every transfer posts instantly. The Activity Log helps you track progress in real time so you always know where your money is — and when it will arrive.

Transfer Times

Here’s how long different types of transfers typically take:

  • Sequence → Sequence
    Instant

  • Sequence → External bank
Same-day ACH (if submitted before 3 PM ET)

  • External bank → Sequence
1–3 business days, depending on the sending bank

Where to See Pending Transfers

Pending transfers are clearly labeled in your Activity Log under the Status column.

Click any pending item to see:

  • The estimated completion date

  • The current stage of the transfer (in transit, settling, or awaiting bank release)

Important to Know

A transfer may show as Complete in Sequence even if your external bank doesn’t reflect it yet.

That’s because:

  • Sequence has finished processing the transfer

  • But the external bank may take additional time to update the balance

Give the bank up to 24 hours to catch up.

Still Waiting?

If it’s been 24 hours past the ETA, Sequence shows the transfer as Complete, and the funds still aren’t visible:

  • Email support@getsequence.io and we’ll help investigate

  • And remember: any transfer pulling funds from an external account can take the full 1–3 business days

Next up: Bank Statements — your official monthly records that pair with the Activity Log for complete documentation.
