Cancelling & Refunds

We want billing to feel as flexible and fair as possible.

Here’s how cancellation and refunds work in Sequence.


How to Cancel Your Subscription

If you need to cancel:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing & Plans

  2. Scroll down to Cancel Subscription

  3. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm

After canceling:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period

  • After that, your plan won’t renew and access will stop unless you reactivate


Requesting a Refund

  • Users that are eligible for a refund must request one from Sequence support

  • To request one, request a human or send an email to support@getsequence.io

  • Once approved, we’ll process the refund back to your original payment method

Refund Destination

Refunds for canceled subscriptions are always sent back to the original payment method. This means that if you paid using a credit or debit card, the refund will be transferred to the same card. If another payment method was used, such as PayPal, the funds will be sent to that account instead.

Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is processed, it may take a few business days for the funds to appear in your account. Typically, most users see the refund reflected within their payment method after the processing window. Keep in mind that the exact timelines may vary depending on your financial institution. For the most accurate timeline, you may check with your bank or payment provider.

What to Do If a Refund Doesn't Arrive

If you haven’t received your refund after several business days, please contact your financial institution or payment provider to verify the transaction status. Additionally, reaching out to our support team can help confirm that the refund was processed correctly.
