Cancelling a Transfer

What if you need to stop a transfer after it’s already been set in motion?

Because transfers move quickly, cancelling isn’t always possible.


How to Request a Cancellation

If you need to cancel a transfer:

  • Email support@getsequence.io right away with the details of the transfer.

  • Our team will check the status and see if it can be stopped.


Important to Know

  • Transfers between Sequence accounts happen instantly and cannot be cancelled, but they can be easily reversed.

  • External transfers may still be in process, but timing is tight.

  • Even if you reach out right away, cancellation is not guaranteed.
