ServerLife is freezing, closing or not responding

Troubleshoot ServerLife freezing, crashing, not responding or restarting while taking a photo.

Written by Meghann Greenhill

If ServerLife freezes, closes unexpectedly, stops responding or restarts while taking a photo, try the steps below. Check whether the issue is resolved after each step.

Close and reopen ServerLife

Fully close ServerLife, then open it again. Simply returning to your phone’s home screen does not fully close the app.

If the app restarts while you’re taking a photo, your phone may be running low on working memory — the memory used to run apps and process the photo. Close other open apps, then return to ServerLife and try again.

Update ServerLife

Check the App Store or Google Play for an available ServerLife update. Install it, then reopen the app.

Restart your phone

If the issue continues, restart your phone and open ServerLife again.

Reinstall ServerLife

Before uninstalling, make sure you know which account and sign-in method you use.

  1. Open More → Account.

  2. At the bottom of the page, check whether you signed in with email, Facebook or Apple. Note your sign-in method and the email address associated with your account.

  3. Uninstall ServerLife, then reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play.

  4. Sign in using the same account and sign-in method as before to access your records.

Your saved records are stored on ServerLife’s servers, so uninstalling the app does not delete them.

If you can’t open the app and aren’t sure how you signed in, contact support before uninstalling.
