Going live with Shopflo moves your checkout processing off Shopify. Three things change as a result — here's what to expect and where to find your data.
1. UTM parameters and campaign attribution
UTM parameters and campaign data from Google Ads, Analytics, and Meta will stop attributing to Shopify. They now attribute on the Shopflo dashboard under Analytics → Sales split.
Why this changes: Since orders are processed by Shopflo checkout and not Shopify, attribution moves to the Shopflo dashboard.
2. Conversion funnel
Your real checkout-to-order conversion numbers will show on the Shopflo dashboard, not Shopify. Find this under Analytics → Conversion funnel.
Why this changes: Since orders are processed by Shopflo checkout and not Shopify, the data attributes on the Shopflo dashboard.
3. Order editing
Editing order items, quantities, and customer contact details can only be done on the Shopflo dashboard. Cancelling, refunding, and editing address details can still be done on Shopify as well.
Why this changes: Shopify doesn't allow editing orders processed by a third-party checkout.
Note: Changes made on the Shopflo dashboard sync to Shopify in real time, so your downstream delivery partners won't be affected.
