Shopflo already lets you build dynamic segments from how shoppers actually behave — who viewed which product page, where they dropped off in checkout, how they pay, how many times they've ordered. But until now, that intelligence stayed inside Shopflo — a segment could only be used in a discount or in an automation here. The insight was real; the reach wasn't.
The Segment Export Connector closes that gap. Segments can now be pushed straight to the tools you actually message from, so the same intelligence that powers a discount can power a personalised WhatsApp message or a CRM journey.
A Quick Example
Say you want to reach everyone who's placed three or more orders and offer them 10% off on WhatsApp. Build that as a Shopflo segment, connect it to your messaging platform, and it's pushed straight through — no exporting CSVs, no events gymnastics required.
How It Works
Three calls power the connector, plus an optional webhook so you don't have to poll:
— List Segments — discovers every segment the merchant has built in Shopflo, existing ones included.
— Get Segment Data — kicks off an export job for the chosen segment and returns a job ID.
— Report Status — poll with that job ID; once the export is complete, the response includes a link to download the exported file.
Instead of polling, a webhook can be configured once to get notified the moment an export starts, completes, comes back empty, or fails.
Bik and LimeChat are wired up first, with more Customer Engagement Platforms to follow.
