Options per signatory

Settings per signatory in new transaction

Updated over a week ago

This article describes the options per signatory that you can include in a new transaction. For example, the name of the signatory, reminder period and expiry date of the sign link.

If you do not set the options per signatory, the default settings will be used.

Where do you find the options per signatory?

In the portal, choose Transactions on the left side and the new transaction screen will open.

Then go to the blue button on the right side, as shown below:

The options window is displayed:

The options are described below:

Signing by invitation: By default we send the e-mail with the signature request, i.e. by invitation. Would you like to share a signing link yourself or complete the signing request directly on your location? Choose Signing on location here. You can read more about signing on premise in this article.

Signer expiry date: This gives you the option to give each signatory a different transaction expiry date. This date will be shown as the expiry date in the e-mail with the signature request to the signatory.

Reminder interval in days: You can enter the reminder interval for each signatory here. We automatically send reminders to signatories who have not yet signed. By default the reminder will be sent 7 days after the creation date of the transaction.

Reference for signer: Here you can add an extra reference or description for each signatory, for example 'buyer' and 'seller'. This reference is stored in the transaction details and can also be exported if required.
