If a document must be signed to the highest security standards, the sender may choose a qualified electronic signature. At Entrust-Signhost we use itsme among other providers for this. To successfully verify and sign with itsme, you need to complete a few steps:
Step 1: Create your itsme account
Before you can use itsme, download the app from the App Store of Google Play Store and link your identity details to your itsme account. You van activate your account by following the steps provided on the itsme website via this link.
Step 2: Verify using itsme with Signhost Signing
Open the sign request link from you email in a browser.
Once you've reviewed the document(s), click Next at the bottom of the viewer.
(Optional) If the sender requires your signature, you will be asked to add your signature and press the button Verify.
A window will appear prompting you to enter the phone number you used for your itsme account.
After entering your phone number, a sign request will be sent to your itsme app. In your browser, a screen like the image below will appear.
Open the itsme app and tap the card at the bottom of your screen.
We have recently changed our name to Signhost, but the itsme ap may still refer to us as "Evidos".
Complete the steps in the app. After successfully completing the steps, you will return to the itsme app's home screen.
Your browser will automatically proceed to finalize the signing process in Signhost, completing your qualified electronisc signature.
