After you view a document, you may need to verify to confirm your identity. Below is more information on the different verification methods.

After you have agreed to the contents of the document you may be asked to do a phone number verification. Click here for more information about phone number (SMS) verification.

After you have agreed to the contents of the document it may be that an iDEAL verification is required. You select your bank and follow the steps for the verification payment of 1 cent.

​Note! Check with which account number (IBAN) the verification is expected to take place! The verification only succeeds when 1 cent is transferred from the correct bank account.

After you have agreed to the contents of the document an iDIN verification may be required. iDIN works in a similar manner to the way you use internet banking and is applied as an identification method.

Choose your bank and select it. You will automatically be taken to the website of the selected bank. Follow the steps to complete the verification. Is your bank not listed? Then click here. After verification you will automatically return to the Signhost.com page. You can now click Next at the bottom right.

Joint account?
Every customer is individually identified by their bank so each person should have their own login credentials. If both of you want to use iDIN you both have to log in with your own credentials. If you do not have your own credentials please get in contact with you bank as Evidos can not assist you in this matter.

Please note that you have got to have a bank account with an iDIN affiliated bank to be able to verify with this method. For an overview of affiliated banks please check out this article.

After you have agreed to the contents of the document a DigiD verification may be required. From the signature request you will be directed to DigiD. Go through the steps there to complete the verification.

After reviewing the document, you can confirm your identity via SURFconext. Click on the button SURFconext, select your educational institution and log in with your login details.

After successfully completing the verification step you can proceed to Step 5 - Sign.
