Basic vs Full Omni Filter

You are able to remove some elements of the Omni Filter functionality if you think it is not needed

Omni has a set of filter controls you can use to refine or reset what you are looking at and/or working on.

Some of these filter controls are considered unneeded by many users.

If you also think they are unneeded, you can choose to have them removed (permanently) from your Omni configuration to clean up the Omni dashboard interface.

Where are the Omni filters?

The Omni filters are in the left-hand panel of the Omni interface. You are able to use any/ all of these controls to refine what you are looking at when working in Omni:

Which Omni filters does the Basic Omni Filter remove?

The Basic Omni Filter will remove the "Processors" and "Roles" filters from your Omni interface:

How do I set my Omni to have the "Basic Omni Filter"?

To set the Basic Omni Filter, go to Account/Profile and expand the "Data access and security" section:

In the "Data access and security" section, tick the control "Show basic Omni filter only"

Press SAVE at the top of the Profile page to save the update.

Refresh Omni screen - you will now have the Basic Omni Filter configuration

Return to Omni and refresh your screen - the Roles and Processors Filters will have been removed from your interface:

βœ… You are able to switch these filters back on at any time by unticking the control in your channel Profile.
