You are able to allocate submitted applications to specific teams or team-members, to kick off the assessment process.
Application Submitted status
Prior to an application being submitted to you, the status of the application will be "Open: Application Started". Any application in this status is still being worked on by your broker/teammember and is not ready for assessment:
When the application is submitted, the application status will change to "Assessment: Application Submitted":
Omni Assessment workflow is triggered
When an application changes to "Assessment: Application Submitted", a number of things will happen.
The broker will no longer be able to edit the application
If the broker logs back in to the submitted application, they will find that they can view the application, but they now cannot edit the application data.
A User with Lender/Assessor credentials will be able to edit the application
The application has now effectively been 'passed on' to the Assessment process - and so a user with Assessor (or other Lender) permissions will now be able to edit the application, as they assess the deal and prepare it for submission to the funder.
The first Omni Process is triggered
Find the submitted application in the application grid and click on the Omni icon to launch the associated Omni record:
This will launch Omni. You will see that the first of the assessment Processes has been triggered:
You will see the first Process has been triggered for the application.
Click on the Process to open it. You will see that it has one OPEN action item that is to be completed:
Click on the Action item to open it and see more detail on the required action - which is to allocate the deal via the Application Grid:
Best practice is to click Start - this will put the action item into "in Progress":
So anyone who is looking at this Omni record will understand that the action item is in Progress.
Complete the Action Item
To complete the Action item, you will need to allocate the deal.

'Pass' (complete) the action item
When you have completed the Action item, you will need to ensure that you "PASS" (complete) the action item. This will trigger the next Process in the Assessment flow. To Pass the Action item, click here:
Because there is only the one action item, this then completes the whole Process:
Click backwards to the overall Omni workbench:
And you will see the next Omni Process has been triggered - to review the submitted application:
If you open any the associated action items, you will see that it has been allocated to Mary Assessor:
Status will update to "Application Allocated"
The completion of the initial Process to allocate the deal will update the application status to "Application Allocated". This can be see in both Omni:
And on the Application Grid:
You can also configure for automated updates to be sent to the broker with the status change:
If I login as Mary Assessor
If I login as Mary Assessor, I will be able to see that I have been allocated the deal. I can also see that I have 5 tasks that are waiting for me to work on:
If I open the Process, I can see the 5 tasks:
As Mary works through the tasks, the counter at the top of the Workbench will update.
