What are Annotation Templates?
Annotation templates define the structure and types of information captured with each annotation in your project. These templates ensure consistency across annotations while allowing flexibility to suit your project's specific needs.
What fields can I include in an Annotation Template?
Attachment: Add any type of files to your annotation.
Date: Record specific dates relevant to your annotation.
Dropdown: Create a list of selectable options, with the ability to add colour coding for each option.
Image: Upload images or capture them directly from the Explore 3D scene.
Link: Insert hyperlinks for quick access to related resources.
Text: Include text fields for additional notes or descriptions.
How to create an Annotation Template?
Annotation templates can be created at two levels:
Account-level templates: available across all projects, account-level templates let you duplicate template fields to quickly create project-specific templates.
Project-level templates: specific to a particular project, providing more customisation and flexibility to meet unique project needs.

How to colour-code annotations using Templates?
Note: Colour coding can only be derived from dropdown fields.
Include a dropdown field in your annotation template.
Assign a colour to each option in the dropdown.
Update the Colour Source to use the dropdown field for colour coding.
Annotations using this template will automatically update their colour based on the selected dropdown value. For example, if you select "High Priority" from the dropdown, the annotation will automatically be displayed in red, as shown in the screenshot below.
