Introduction
SKED’s onboarding guide serves as a roadmap and portal to all the settings your office can enable to make the most of the features in your plan. The amount of steps required to set up your office fully will depend on the plan your office is subscribed to, but the process itself will remain consistent.
Note: Making use of the Onboarding Guide is not required for getting your office onboarded. However, we recommend giving it a shot as it provides as a helpful portal to all the features that would fully set up your office. The SKED team is more than happy to help you set up your office for the first time.
On the Onboarding page, you will see a progress bar representing your progress in getting your SKED Admin fully set up. As you explore the dropdown menus and mark items as complete, you will see the progress tracker update to reflect the completion of your office's settings and features.
Getting Started
To get started, click on a drop-down menu. This will reveal a series of features that your office can set up. Each feature will have a circular marker on the left to indicate whether or not the feature has been configured so far. If it was already completed, the circle will be blue, and you can move on to the next step in your onboarding process.
Click “Start” on any feature to launch it. Once you arrive at the new page, you can click on the “?” bubble in the top left corner to learn more about setting the feature up or refer to SKED’s Help Center for additional information.
Mark Item as Complete
After you visit a feature that was launched from the onboarding guide and attempt to return, a popup will appear asking if you wish to mark the feature as complete. If you are satisfied with the settings and changes you made to the feature, go ahead and click “Yes”. Otherwise, just click the “X” to delay it to later.
The second way to mark items as complete is directly from the onboarding guide page. Click on the white circle to the left of the item you wish to mark, and the confirmation popup will appear. Select “Yes” to mark it as complete.
Once you have marked it as complete, the feature will have a blue marker signifying that it is completed, and your progress bar at the top of the onboarding screen will advance to reflect your progress. Now you can move on to the next step of the onboarding process by repeating the process as necessary.
Mark Item as Incomplete
If you ever accidentally mark an item as complete and you want to revisit it later, click on the blue circle next to the item. A popup will appear asking if you would like to mark the item as unread. Click “Yes” to confirm your decision and the progress tracker will take a step down to reflect your progress.
Review Completed Item
If you would like to review an item that has been marked as complete, it is as easy as clicking “Review”. The feature will launch again, and you can observe or change the information you have inputted into that feature. Remember to save any changes you’ve made, if applicable.
