Reconnecting SKED (Platinum)

How to Re-Establish the Connection Between Platinum & SKED

If SKED is not syncing with Platinum, follow the steps below to restart the Platinum API service.

Steps

  1. Go to the SERVER computer (not a workstation).

  2. Open Services

    • You can do this by pressing Windows Key + R, typing services.msc, and clicking OK.

  3. In the Services list, locate:
    Platinum API Client

  4. Check the service status:

    • If the service is running:

      • Right-click → Stop

      • Right-click again → Start

    • If the service is not running:

      • Right-click → Start

Expected Result

  • The Platinum ↔ SKED connection should restore within 15–20 minutes.
