Do you need additional software or office equipment to use SKED?

SKED Setup Requirements — Step-by-Step


Step 1: Determine Your EHR Setup

  1. Identify which EHR system your practice uses:

    • Platinum

    • ChiroTouch

    • Genesis

    • Stand-Alone SKED

    • ChiroHD


Step 2: Check Server Requirements

  • If you use Platinum or ChiroTouch:

    1. You must have a server computer.

    2. SKED will be installed on that server.

    3. Once installed, you can access SKED from any computer by visiting:
      🌐 www.app2.sked.life

  • If you use Genesis, ChiroHD or Stand-Alone SKED:

    • No server computer is required — SKED is cloud-based.


Step 3: Decide if You Want to Use Barcodes

  1. If your office wants to use the barcode check-in feature in the SKED app:

    • You will need a 2D / QR barcode scanner

    • It must be capable of scanning mobile screen codes (phone barcodes)
