Step 1: Determine Your EHR Setup
Identify which EHR system your practice uses:
Platinum
ChiroTouch
Genesis
Stand-Alone SKED
ChiroHD
Step 2: Check Server Requirements
If you use Platinum or ChiroTouch:
You must have a server computer.
SKED will be installed on that server.
Once installed, you can access SKED from any computer by visiting:
🌐 www.app2.sked.life
If you use Genesis, ChiroHD or Stand-Alone SKED:
No server computer is required — SKED is cloud-based.
Step 3: Decide if You Want to Use Barcodes
If your office wants to use the barcode check-in feature in the SKED app:
You will need a 2D / QR barcode scanner
It must be capable of scanning mobile screen codes (phone barcodes)
