Grouping allows practice members to manage multiple accounts from a single app login! This feature is especially helpful for parents who want to manage their children’s appointments without creating a separate app account for each child.
If a parent wants to manage their children’s appointments from their app, the group feature will allow them to do so!
Grouping is done through your EHR system. Once a family has been grouped in your EHR, the information will sync over to SKED and they will be grouped in SKED.
How to Group in Platinum
Select the Head of the Group:
Find the client who will be the main account holder and press ‘g’ on your keyboard.Create a New Group:
Press ‘n’ to create a new group.Add Members to the Group:
Find the next client you want to include.
Press ‘g’ again.
Select ‘i’ to insert them into the group. (Type the name of the head of the group when prompted)
Sync with SKED:
Once everyone is grouped in Platinum, allow a few moments for SKED to sync.Verify in the App:
Have the practice member swipe down in the app to refresh or clear the cache and re-open it.
Go to Settings > Group Settings — they should now see all members of their group.
