Note: Campaigns are currently limited to free Connect plans and are sent as text (SMS) campaigns only.

As a SmartAC.com partner, you can use Campaigns to engage your existing customer base and promote Smart Maintenance membership. Through the NOC, you can build, launch, and track campaigns that encourage customers to download the SmartAC.com app, activate their plan, and join your membership program

  1. From your Partner Dashboard, click the mailbox icon at the top of the screen. This opens the Campaigns page, where you can view all campaigns you’ve created. (Each campaign includes performance metrics such as delivery rate, link opens, and onboarding conversions, helping you measure engagement over time.

  2. Click the blue button + New Campaign.

  3. Enter a Campaign Name to identify the purpose or target group for this campaign.

  4. Select a plan to associate with your campaign.

    • Only free plans with rewards will appear as available options.

    • If you don’t yet have an eligible plan, you’ll see an error message prompting you to create one.

    • You can click the Create Plan button to go directly to the Plan Creation page.

  5. In the Message section, you’ll see a default message template. Add your custom text below the default message. You can personalize your message and include details about your offer or incentive (e.g., “Join our Smart Maintenance program today and start earning Comfort Credits!”). If you want to undo your edits, click Revert Message to return to the default text.

  6. In the Image section, select a default image or upload your own branded image. For the best visibility in text messages, use larger images — smaller ones may appear reduced when sent.

  7. Preview your image, make any necessary adjustments, and then click Save to confirm your selection.

  8. Upload a CSV file with your customer contact information.

  9. Once uploaded, you’ll see a screen allowing you to map your CSV columns to the correct system fields. For example:

    • Name → First Name

    • Surname → Last Name

    • Cell Number → Phone Number

    • Street Name → Address 1

  10. Click Next when you’ve finished mapping all fields.

  11. After uploading, the system automatically checks your list for potential conflicts:

    • Already a member: These customers already have a SmartAC.com account and will be excluded automatically.

    • Recently contacted: Customers who have received a campaign within the past 90 days are flagged, but you can choose whether to include or exclude them.

    • Duplicate contacts: Matching phone numbers or emails are flagged to prevent multiple messages.

    • Opted out of SmartAC: Customers who have previously opted out of SmartAC communications are identified and automatically excluded to ensure compliance with messaging preferences.

Review any flagged contacts, make your selections, and proceed.

  12. Review your campaign summary — including campaign name, message, image, and recipient count.

  13. Choose one of the following options:

    • Save as Draft: Keep your campaign for review or later editing.

    • Launch: Send the campaign immediately.
