Overview

The following information highlights the main components of your virtual testing room and breaks down the toolbar functions, giving you a clear understanding of how each element supports a smooth testing experience.

How to Enter a Proctoring Room Within the Virtual Testing Center

  1. From your proctoring dashboard, access the Virtual Testing Center.

  2. Here you will see a list of available testing rooms. To select a room, click the icon to the right of the room name.

  3. You are now in a virtual testing room. In the details below, we will highlight some of the functions and layout.

To switch rooms, click on your proctor icon in the top right of the screen. A menu will appear, select Switch Rooms

Overview of the Check In Toolbar

Tool Name

Icon

Function

Get Next

Automatically pulls the next student to be checked in. First priority will be students who are reconnecting after a disconnection, second will be the student with the longest wait time.

Waiting

This includes sessions that are waiting to be checked in. (red alert bubble)

Check In

This includes sessions that are actively being checked in by a proctor. (blue alert bubble)

Reconnect

This includes sessions that had dropped out of the room and are reconnecting after a disconnection.

Sent Back

This includes sessions that were sent back to an onboarding step by a proctor. These sessions will eventually end up back in check-in or will remain connected to the proctor who sent them back.

Recently Ended

This includes sessions that have recently ended and exited the room. Transferred sessions will not be included here.

Queue

Shows an overview of all check in actions in one place.

This is used to hide or show the checkin toolbar.
