Hardware Restrictions
To ensure exam integrity, microphones built into headphones or earbuds are not permitted during remote proctoring sessions. Test-takers should select a built-in or external microphone that is not part of a headset or pair of earbuds.
Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble connecting your audio, the following tips may help:
Look for a physical mute switch on your external microphone or keyboard.
Check your system settings to confirm that your microphone is enabled and not muted.
Try a different microphone to identify and eliminate a potential hardware fault.
